Course Objectives

* Students will have an understanding of the video & audio process for television production.

* Students will learn to shoot professional videography, enabling a smoother editing process.

* Students will perform as members of a production crew.

* Students will learn how to operate a variety of video, audio & editing equipment.

* Students will learn how to create pre-production tools: treatments, scripts & storyboards.

* Students will learn how to produce & direct videos.

* Students will learn basic lighting techniques.

* Students will learn about the analogue post-production process

* Students will learn about broadcast Journalism

* Students will learn how to perform as On-Camera talent
