What is academic support?

Academic support is a class that supports the mainstreamed classes. We focus on organization, study skills, and remediation of skills.

Organization

If a student is organized both in and out of school, they will meet with greater success at the middle school. To be organized and prepared, it is suggested that each student has: 1) a large three ring binder

2) white-lined paper

3) dividers for each subject

4) a pencil/pen bag with extra

pens and pencils

5) a calculator
