The story Al Capone Does My Shirts is a exciting book. It is an exciting book because there are a lot of different places, events, and many new people. The main characters are Natalie, her parents, her friends, Moose, and Al Capone. The setting is Alcatraz Island. My genre is Historical fiction. On Alcatraz, there is a jail where Machine Gun Kelly and Al Capone are held. Natalie’s dad is a janitor for that same jail. Everyone wants to know all about what Al Capone had done.

Now, Moose and her friend are going to school and they come across the school baseball field, were they see Al Capone playing baseball with other convicts. The problem is that Natalie goes to numerous schools, but they all kicked her out because she can’t keep up with the rest of the students. Natalie’s mom doesn’t agree, so she repeatedly goes up to the school to convince the teachers that she is ready to stay at one school.

I think that other people should read this book because it has a lot of action in it and it has some true things about the characters like Al Capone. You should definitely try to check this book out!
