This book was great! The characters in this book are Mr.Popper, Mrs.Popper, Janie and Bill. Mr.Popper and Mrs.Popper lived on 432 Proudfoot Avenue. Mr.Popper's life was very boring, he was a house painter. He would come home to a meal until a box came in the mail. The thing in the mail changed his life.

When I read this book I thought that the author really described the characters as if they were real. I would love to read this book over and over again!
