The main character is Dorothy. She lives in Kansas City with her aunt, uncle, and dog Toto. Her house is swept away by a tornado. They land on top of the Wicked Witch of the West. The Good witch of the North gives Dorothy the sliver slippers and tells her to go see the Great Oz. On her way there she meets a scarecrow that wants a brain, a tin man that wants a heart, and a lion that wants courage. When they meet with The Great Oz he tells them they have to kill the Wicked Witch of the West. On there way they get attacked by wolves and birds. Flying monkeys take Dorothy and the Wicked Witch of the West makes Dorothy clean. Dorothy slips on a piece of soap and one of the slipper flies into the Wicked Witch of the West’s hands. Dorothy gets angry and splashes water on her. The Wicked Witch of the West melts and they get away. Dorothy is then sent home to her Aunt and Uncle.

This Book is the best book I’ve ever read. There’s action some sad parts and friendship found in this book so go check it out!!!!!!!!!
