In the fall, a girl name Enola Holmes has a big shocker on her 14th birthday.  Her mom went missing. Enola is a detective. Her brothers are now taking care of her. Enola opens the present she got from he mother and it’s a cipher and gives clues to them about were their mother is.  Her brothers finds out while they were in London that all these years when they were giving her mom money the stuff she said she was getting she didn’t. When Enola’s brothers send her to boarding school to get discipline, she ditches school and heads off to London to find her mom and on her way she finds that people have the same problem as her. Enola helps these people with there problems. First she searches all over London for her mom and meets new people who will help her. In the middle of the night while she is walking on the street she gets a knife pulled up to her throat and gets kidnapped.

This story makes me sit on the edge of my seat and I get curious if Enola will ever find her mom. I think this is a great story for whoever loves mysteries. I would recommend this book for 5th grade and up.
