Runt is a wolf pup that is the small one
in his litter. He thinks he knows everything about the forest but he doesn’t. One
time he went out in the woods with his brother named Thinker. He is the smart
one. When Thinker said to get away from a porcupine he went tored
it instead and what happened? Read it to find out. It shows that he is not
smart. After meeting the porcupine he meets humans and since they were nice to
him he now thinks that they are all kind to wolves.
I loved this book. I didn’t want to put
it down. The reason I picked up this book is because I saw the cover and I read
the summary and I just had to read this for my review. I love most animal
stories and this was one of them. If you are looking for a book to read for any
purpose this is a good choice! I recommend this book for ages 8-13.
