Everyone has a secret, Emily Windsnap’s is a little different. It all started in the 7^th grade when Emily’s mom signed her up for swimming lessons. For Emily this is new because this will be the first time she has been in the water, and that’s weird because she lives on a boat with her mom. When Emily got to her swimming lessons she got in the water and her legs started to stick together. She finally got out of the water and her legs were fine. She decided to leave swimming lessons for the day. When Emily got home she decided to go back into the water again. As you may have guessed, the same thing happened again, but this time her legs turned into a tail! Can you guess what Emily’s secrete is?

Join these two mermaids in some wild adventures including finding Emily’s dad. I loved this book so much “I’ll give it two tails up!” I would recommend this book to people who like suspenseful stories that make you want to jump out of your seat.
