This book is very funny, frightening, sad, and filled
with momentum. One of the funny parts of this book is whenever Sunny who is the
baby “talks” because she will usually say something like “pipshnittyhoganlaw.”
You should see what Olaf tries to do to Violet. One of the sad parts was when
the Baudelaire children found out that their parents had just died in a
horrible and gruesome fire that had destroyed their house, which forces them go
to Count Olaf’s house. I was frightened when Count Olaf struck Klause and you should see what they do after that.
