This book
is about a king his wife and son. Men try to take his wife’s love and live
stock. His son try’s to chase them off. They kill his live stock to tell his
wife that she has to marry one of them. She knows he is not dead but they think
he is dead. All the men think he is dead, because he has been gone for twenty
years he’s dead. One of the gods secretly likes him and won’t let him leave the
island. Her father tells her to let him go.
I like this book because it made ME feel
like I was in it. It made me feel like I was locked on an island and no one
could help me except the trees. I recommend this book for Middle students.
