The H-K Players are
presenting the musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat on
April 30th and May 1st. All shows begin at 7:00 p.m.
in the HKHS Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The HK Players are offering a
free performance of Joseph to senior citizens on Thursday, April
29th at 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 4, 2010 - 2010-2011 Budget
Referendum in Both Towns The last day of the 2009-2010 school year
and the date for the graduation for the Class of 2010 is Friday,
June 18th.
The district is pleased to announce that
the inductees to the 2010 class of the Haddam-Killingworth Hall of
Fame are: Frank Sparks, Robert Baranoff and Michael Kish. These
inductees will be honored at a dinner scheduled for
Saturday, June 5, 2010. Tickets to this dinner may be
purchased beginning on April 30 at any Region17 school and the
Central Office of the district. Tickets are priced as
follows: Adults: $30.00 & Stdeunts:
$25.00.
The KES Festival of Arts and Sciences Committee is
currently looking for food donations to help us feed the many
presenters, volunteers and staff that help to make this day so
special! The list of items needed is located in a notebook at the
KES front office. If you wish to choose an item, but can not

Haddam Killingworth Project Graduation
Attention Senior Parents: The HK Project Graduation Decorating
Committee is seeking photos of Senior HKHS students for the memory
wall at Project Graduation. Pictures can range from
kindergarten age through today. Candid and group shots are
preferred. Photos can be sent to the Attention of Project
Graduation at the High School Office. Please note photos will not be
returned. Photos can also be sent by e-mail to pictures@suzannemazzotta.org.
HK PROJECT GRADUATION NEEDS YOUR HELP: If you would
like to help on the Decorations Committee, please join us starting
Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm - 8pm in
the B116 photo room. No creative experience necessary, just
come and join in the fun. We will be meeting every Tuesday and
Thursday from now until Graduation. You can join in at any time.

Chaperones needed: Please contact Sue Craffey at

chaperoning for a few hours from Friday night, June 18, 2010
into Saturday morning. We need lots of volunteers to help make
this event a success.
Clean up Volunteers: Please contact Laura Roman at

with clean up on Saturday, June 19, 2010. All volunteers will be
greatly appreciated.
HK Project Graduation meetings for the rest of the year
are: Tuesday 5/11/10 and Tuesday 6/8/10 at 7:00pm in the Lower
Media Center of the high school.
HKYFA's Spring Fling Adult Night Out
will also be held Friday, April 30th at The Riverhouse at
Goodspeed Station from 6-11 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person,
$120 per couple, and $750 for a table of twelve. Come and enjoy cocktail
hour, a buffet dinner, live entertainment by One Way Out, and a
silent auction to support HKYFA. Visit our website

Care-Free Celebrations from RSD 17 Food
Services
Whether it's a birthday celebration
or a special occasion, let Care Free Celebrations do the work for
you. We offer a variety of items that can be picked up or
delivered to a classroom. In order to accommodate all
requests, a one-week notice is required. Look for flyers
announcing this new, low cost option now available through the
district's food services department.
