Please accept my apologies for the
inadvertent omissions to this morning's
weekly message.
The Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association
recently held its post season awards banquet at Aqua Turf. Two HKHS
Cougars were among the honorees. Junior Teagan Ferguson was named to
the 2009 All State Player (Goalkeeper) and also received the 2009
Kelme MVP Award. Senior Jessica Moore was named a 2009
Scholar-Athlete, one of only nine in the state. Ferguson was also
named a HKHS Tri-Captain with Megan Linsenbigler and Beth-Ann
Stehr.
The Central Administration extends its sincere
congratulations to the HKMS Boys Basketball Team for their
phenomenal undefeated season of 14-0. District staff is
researching whether or not this is the first, ever undefeated season
for this middle school program. Stay tuned to future bulletins for
details.
HKHS Cheerleaders Camille Kostek,
Kelcey Bartolotta and Julie Vagliante made the 1st Team All
Conference team again this year. For Camille and Kelcey it's their
3rd year for Julie is her 2nd
year
The Killingworth Scholarship Association is selling
locally grown potted Tulips, Lilies, Daffodils and Hydrangeas,
priced below retail, just in time for Easter! These top quality
plants are from the same grower as the holiday plants. Proceeds from
the sale will directly fund the Association's scholarships
which are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors who
live in Killingworth.
Order Forms may be obtained at any of the
schools in the district. Checks should be made payable to
KSA-Killingworth Scholarship Association. Return with your child to
KES in a sealed envelope marked KSA-FUNDRAISERor mail to: KSA, PO

APRIL 1, 3-6 p.m. at the rear of the Firehouse. DEADLINE FOR ORDERS
