As reported two weeks ago, there have been a rash of home burglaries in and around both the towns of Haddam and Kilinwgoirth.  The following addtional infromation was obtained from different residents via e-mail today.

"There was a reported break-in on Arkona Lane in Haddam today.  The basement window of the home was smashed in and thehouse was robbed.  The police said that they are seeming to only hit a street once and then they move on.  They are targeting dead end streets between the hours of 10 and 2pm.  Please be alert for all strange activities and like the police said report anything suspicious to them.  They seem to be averaging at least one per day and show no signs of stopping anytime soon."

"A resident's son is home from college and was playing video games with a friend this afternoon (date not certain) when he heard their garage door open.  He then looked out the window and saw a Budget Rental Truck sitting in their driveway with men still sitting in the truck. She thinks they must have had some universal remote control. One of the men looked up at the window and noticed one of the boys looking down at them and it scared them away.  This took place in the Indian Hill, Little Fawn, Reisman Trail area of Higganum."
