Welcome to the Board of Education section of the Region #17 website.

This Board is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who share the common goal of providing a quality educational foundation for the children of our communities. We are parents, grandparents, teachers, and business professionals all committed to creating and maintaining a culture and climate that supports learning for all.

We welcome you to attend any of our monthly meetings. Our business meeting is held on the first Tuesday of the month in the Board of Education conference room located in the former middle school. There is an opportunity to address the Board at the beginning of these meetings. Our Educational meeting is held on the third Tuesday of the month and is held in various schools throughout the district (agendas are posted on the district website). This meeting usually involves a presentation from various staff members on district or school initiatives.

Finally, if you have questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to raise them, as we value your input. Together we can prepare our children for the future.
