How
to Help Children with Self-Regulation and Critical
Thinking
Diane
Twachtman-Cullen, Ph.D., CCC-SLP
In this
fast-paced world of information overload and
video-game frenzy, more and more children are
finding it difficult to sustain attention, inhibit
inappropriate responses, and think
critically. This presentation will focus on
what parents and teachers can do to help
children self-regulate, think critically, and
establish the conventions of mind needed for
organized, goal-directed behavior.
