enjoy a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. As I
mentioned to students this morning, this is a
great opportunity to remember and be thankful for
those who have given their lives for our
freedom. May you and your family enjoy a

continue to reflect on your strengths and areas
where we need to improve. We would really
appreciate your input as parents. Please

| GROUNDS
BEAUTIFICATION |

A Big Thank You to the families and students
who worked tirelessly on Saturday, May 14th to
beautify the grounds in front of our
school. (Names will be published in our
upcoming newsletter.) The committee,
co-chaired by Yvette Minervino and Michele Wytas,
is working to help our school look great and we
need everyone's help...
PLANTS, PLANTS, PLANTS!
The grounds beautification committee will be
planting flowers in the barrels with the students
during the afternoon on Wed. June 1st & Thurs.
June 2nd. If you would like to donate
flowers please send them into school during the
week of June 1st. If you would like to make a
monetary donation please place it in an envelope
marked Grounds Beautification and send it into the
office.
If you are available to help
plant with the students on either date or if your
family would like to help water plants this summer

| SCHOOL SIGN |

It's finally up! After a long wait, I
am pleased to say that our school sign, a gift
from PTO (which means all of your fundraising
efforts at work), is ready to go. We hope
that you like your collective
purchase. We will use it to communicate
important school events and
announcements. |
