13.      CLASS of 2011

  a.   The Variety Show is being hosted by the Class of 2011 this year, replacing the annual Lip Sync Contest.  We would like to open the competition to those students and staff who have talents like singing, juggling, playing instruments, or doing stand-up comedy, as well as those who enjoy lip-syncing and dancing.  The show will be held in the high school auditorium on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 7:00 PM.

b.      At the end of February, the class advisors will order Class of 2011 tee shirts for students who paid their dues after shirts were ordered last year.  All students will have the opportunity to purchase sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, long-sleeved tee shirts, and a small stuffed cougar wearing a class tee shirt, all with Jared Benton-Smith's original design.  Order forms will be available in homeroom.  Parents may also pick up order forms in C210 during the conference half-days next week.

c.   The Class of 2011 will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday, February 11, during the half-day of school, and after school during parent conferences.   We ask that students donate baked or purchased items and invite parents to stop by for an after-school snack.  All proceeds will go to our junior prom fund.
