Killingworth Elementary School welcomes you!

On behalf of the entire Killingworth Elementary School community, I would like to welcome you to a new school year that will be filled with enthusiasm and excitement. Killingworth Elementary School is a vibrant and active educational community where children come first. We have 455 students in grades kindergarten through grade four.

KES is a wonderful learning community with professional faculty and staff dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. Our collaborative group of educators support and challenge our students to reach their fullest potential by meeting their diverse needs. The educational program develops the whole child by fostering the joy and love of learning.

We have created effective relationships with our families through an active Parent Teacher Organization. Our P.T.O is extremely supportive of the community and offers many educational programs for the children. Through a “grassroots” project, our students will be enjoying a beautiful playground which is accessible for all children. It is expected that the playground will be completed in early September. We are fortunate to have such a group of committed and dedicated parents.
