Killingworth Elementary School welcomes you!

On behalf of the entire Killingworth Elementary School community, I would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year. Killingworth Elementary School is a vibrant and active educational community where children come first. This year we have approximately 390 students in kindergarten through fourth grade.

KES is a wonderful learning community with professional faculty and staff dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. Our collaborative group of educators support and challenge our students to reach their fullest potential by meeting their diverse needs.

The educational program develops the whole child by fostering the joy and love of learning. Our core values of caring, respect and responsibility are embedded in the daily life at KES.

Over the years we have created effective relationships with our families through an active Parent Teacher Organization. Our P.T.O. is extremely supportive of the community and offers many educational programs for the children. We are fortunate to have families who give their time and talents to our learning community. We invite our new families to become members of the Parent Teacher Organization.
